Its the super of the future.....

We are currently going through The Process of designing and building a fairly 'green' new home. Its a Process that to date has taken over a year but really the planning has been in our heads for at least 5 years.....its was always going to be a 5 year plan and that was 8 years ago. Anyway, to keep my enthusiasm alive while the planning process is happening, I have started weekly 'observation' trips to our local op-shops/thrift stores/second hand places and every now and then I snag a bargain.

We plan on furnishing alot of our new home with pre-loved furniture - items that already have a history to add to our family's history - so its an investment in the future by going back to the past.........

Inspiration everywhere....

the armchairs of the world are conspiring against me.....

everywhere i look, i see them waiting to be taken home and re-covered in something organic and gorgeous.

this beauty i spotted having a quiet moment under a tree at our local park......

he looked so regal there, gazing out over the oval, keeping an eye on the children.

i had a quick chat with him. he was quite happy to stay there, he didn't need a lift home......
